Fees & pricing

How NeighborLift makes money, written out in full. You see every fee before you pay or accept a task.

The whole fee list

  • Neighbor service fee — none. You pay your Lifter directly with Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal or a check.
  • Lifters keep 90% of the task price. The 10% NeighborLift share funds identity checks, safety review and support, and is sent after the task is paid.
  • Nearby alerts — free. Every task alerts all verified Lifters within 40 miles right away. There is nothing to pay for extra visibility.
  • Tips and approved supplies — 0%. Lifters keep every cent of both.
  • Payouts — free. The money goes straight from the neighbor to the Lifter, so there is nothing to cash out.

Worked example: a $40 lawn cut

Task payment (paid to your Lifter)$40.00
You pay$40.00

No service fee for neighbors — you pay your Lifter directly.

Task payment$40.00
NeighborLift share (10%) — safety, verification & support−$4.00
Helper takes home$36.00

The neighbor sends $40.00 straight to their Lifter, the Lifter keeps $36.00, and $4.00 comes back to NeighborLift to keep the neighborhood verified and supported.

Later, not today

We may add an optional subscription for frequent neighbors and professional taskers. If we do, the price and what it changes will be shown here before anyone is charged. Nothing is billed automatically without you turning it on.

We do not advertise earnings figures. What a helper makes depends entirely on the tasks they accept and complete, and every task shows its exact take-home pay before it is accepted. Fees are only changed with advance notice in the app.
